Tennis retail in the US is a mix of specialty tennis shops, club pro shops, big sporting goods chains and running stores that carry court shoes. Specialty shops and pro shops demo racquets for a small fee that is usually credited toward a purchase, and they string racquets on site, typically within a day or two, with string and labor priced separately. Sporting goods chains stock entry-level racquets, balls and apparel at lower prices but rarely offer stringing or fitting advice. Court construction and resurfacing companies serve clubs, schools and homeowners; a hard court is typically resurfaced every five to eight years.

South Daytona is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and South Daytona follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I just moved to new Smyrna Beach and found this store. They have everything you need and more for whatever water sport you enjoy. They even have hobie products and replacements parts which is hard to find, every yak attack attachment you would want or need on a kayak is there and so much more very happy to have this store near me now.

I had a debilitating brain injury 6 years ago, and I forgot how to put my Windsurfer together. Now that I have my life back, I visited Sandy Point. Curtis took the time to teach me how to put my board back together so I can be back on the water in time for Father's Day! If I could leave 100 Stars I would! I am very much a proponent of shopping locally whenever you can, and Curtis exemplifies that. I'm sure I could have gone to YouTube and learned what I needed, but hands on is necessary for me. What an excellent interaction. I'll be getting into a new sport that they sell the equipment for and I will be purchasing it from them.

Several years I purchased several kayaks and a trailer from Sandy Point. They were so good to work with. They allowed me to test out several and offered some great suggestions. Now, a few years later, the Hobie needed some repair work on the steering system. I called, and they told me to drop it off and they were very friendly. I explained the problem, and they said they would call when it was finished. I stopped to do a little shopping on my way home, and before I got down the road,I received a call, and they told me it was done. Best of all, the bill was less than I had anticipated, and that seldom happens in this day and age. 5 stars all the way from purchase to repair.

I have never been kayaking. My husband and I are thinking about the new adventures. We went to Sandy Point and were so pleased with the information and the service! They carry an array of items from surf boards to snow boards! They even give the opportunity to try a kayaking in the pool area. If you need great service at a great price, this is the go-to! The knowledge of their product line is amazing. THEY HAVE A HUGE INVENTORY!

Todd at Sandy Point for the win!!! We got my granddaughter a custom skateboard deck made by a local artist for her birthday. We ordered trucks and wheels for it... but they didn't come in time. I drove down from Bunnell today (the day before my granddaughters birthday) walked and and asked for a miracle!! They delivered! Todd helped me pick out child appropriate bearings, wheels, trucks, hardware, and grip tape that perfectly matched the theme of the skateboard! And on top of that, he put it all on for me!! I love this place! We've been shopping here since my daughter was 4 years old and I'm so happy they are still around to help! 10 out of 10 WILL RECOMMEND! π
